POINT 1: OBJECT AND GOALS OF THE CONCEPT AND DESIGN COMPETITION

Cremona Municipality is the "proponent" of an international concept and design competition in a single anonymous phase with short-listing selection.
The competition aims at collecting several proposals for urban upgrading. The proposals must be drafted according to the rules established in art. 5.5 of the Regulation.

POINT 2: GUIDELINES

The short-listed competitors will be provided with specific "Guidelines".

POINT 3: COMPETITION PROCEDURES

3.1) Type of competition: international concept and design competition in a single anonymous phase with short-listing selection; 3.2) Person in charge of the procedure: architect Marco Masserdotti; 3.3) Participation rules: see the Regulation; 3.3.1) Quality requirements to participate: see the Regulation; 3.4) Causes of exclusion: see the Regulation; 3.8) Complementary documents: available according to the rules contained in the Regulation.

POINT 4: COMPETITION - SHORTLISTING

4.1) Call for proposals: see the Regulation; 4.2) Delivery of the documents: within 30 days from the publication of this announcement on the municipal notice board; 4.3) selection of the candidates: the jury will select at the most 7 (seven) competitors.

POINT 5: COMPETITION

5.1) Participation procedures: the short-listed competitors are all invited to participate to the competition; 5.2) Additional Documents: the short-listed competitors will be provided with the Guidelines and other documents as indicated in the Regulation; 5.5) Project proposals: see the Regulation; 5.6) Delivery of the project proposal and of the additional documents: within 90 days from the invitation to participate; 5.7) Declaration of the winner and end of the competition procedure: within 30 days from the delivery deadline.

POINT 6: AWARDS

The winners will get a prize of Euro 25.000 (twentyfive thousand). The short-listed competitors (not winners), who have presented before the deadline a proposal in line with the functional program and completed by all the necessary documents, will receive a reimbursement of Euro 10.000 (ten thousand euros) each.

POINT 7: PUBLICATION OF THE RESULTS

The results of the competition will be published under the law in force.

POINT 8: PERSON IN CHARGE OF THE IMPLEMENTATION PLAN

AEM Cremona S.p.A will entrust the winner with the task of drafting the Implementation Plan (public/private initiative) according to the rules established in the Agreement Protocol signed by the proponent.

POINT 9: COPYRIGHT

POINT 10: OFFICIAL LANGUAGE

The official language of the concept and design competition is Italian. The project's documents must be presented in Italian.
